What happens to a correction

We verify it against the primary source, correct the page, and update the modified date — which on this site reflects real content changes rather than a redeploy. Where an error affected a recommendation, we say so on the page rather than quietly swapping it out. The corrections policy in full.

What we cannot help with

Wiring and installation questions. Anything that connects to your electrical panel needs a licensed electrician who can see your panel, your local code and your permit requirements. Nothing on this site substitutes for that.

Warranty and product support. Contact the manufacturer. We do not sell anything and have no relationship with their support.

Reviewing your unit. We do not test equipment — the method explains why — so we cannot take a product in.
